Elizabeth Mashkov

Practitioner

Elizabeth Mashkov studied at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, attending both the Nursing program and the Robert E. Cook Honors College, graduating in 2013 with a BSN and honors.

She loves learning about the human body and its processes, as well as discovering ways in which each individual can step more fully into wellness in every aspect of their life. Her nursing degree has provided her with numerous tools in understanding how the body functions, and she is excited to begin a new chapter in life where her knowledge is enhanced by the understanding of how the body is able to heal itself and thrive.

She has volunteered multiple times in the medical field over the course of the last 7 years, including partnering twice with World Vision to raise funds for and enhance community awareness of malnutrition in certain cultures, and developing and teaching a handwashing program to school children. She also worked with Esperanza Health Center in North Philadelphia providing door to door health screenings and teaching locals about hypertension, diabetes, and HIV. She then went on to work with that data during their Summer Medical Institute in order to move towards publication of the effects of progress in the community.

Elizabeth lived in Madrid, Spain for two summers with a Spanish family during college, teaching their two young daughters English and at the same time learning their language and culture.

She is committed to lifelong learning in the medical field, and looks forward to partnering with Health by Design Natural Clinic, as she loves seeing individuals step into their fullest potential in health and well-being. Elizabeth grew up in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, and while she moved out of town for college she has now settled locally with her husband.
